- Head - Moderately short, face dished, snout broad, jaw straight, jowl light, eyes set well apart, wide between ears, which should be fairly large and inclined forward.
- Shoulders - Fine, sloping and aligned with legs and sides, Free from coarseness.
- Back - Long and level to root of tail with well sprung ribs,
- Belly - Thick and straight underline with at least twelve sound evenly placed teats.
- Hams - Broad and deep to hock.
- Legs - Straight and fairly short, set well apart, pasterns short and springy, standing well up on toes and a good walker.
- Skin - Free from coarseness, wrinkles, spots and "roses".
- Hair - Of fine quality.
DISQUALIFICATIONS - Rose on back, extra toes, twisted jaw.
